so as much as I like the carols and cookies and all that stuff that christmas time brings there's one thing I simply hate about it...
EVERYTHING breaks before christmas... 4 years ago it was our water pipes, 3 years ago our heating, 2 years ago our car, last year nothing broke thank god but then there was stress about relatives and this year it is our car yet again! And I wouldn't mind things breaking down but that causes stress and stress causes my dad to go awol and then there's lots of shouting and generally bad mood that really dampens the jolly mood for everyone, not to mention this year has been more hectic than usual so none of us has had the time to go shopping for presents! Sigh... well guess we're just going to spend christmas like any other weekend as at the moment it seems that this years christmas mood has been killed completely... Maybe I'll just give dad a bunch of coal for christmas instead of those really expensive plates that he wanted... he really hasn't deserved them for starting to act like a three-year-old every time he doesn't get his way or things brake or theres general misfortune...

BUT to those who have had better luck I wish you all HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!!!!!!!!

I need to do 1 character a day completely from scratch to fully detailed and then do a chop chop coloring and I MIGHT make it in time for my deadline -___-;

I'm trying this funny thing at school that we need to take a nice shape off a building and them chip it onto a plaster sheet (can't explain will post pic when done) it's really addicting actually
still haven't gotten my house plans done for my other art class... something "important" always cuts our class... BUT I have designed a cool chair

in non related news:
my wajas are cuute (those who don't know... wajas is an online game similar to neopets but a gazillion times better where you breed cool looking dogs)
when working on a hard picture... if you have a chance do it in grayscale first so you can focus on values
give meeeeeee christmas cookies and carols
aaand remember to buy presents for all your friends! I'm going to go shopping for them tomorrow
